Up the A1 near Peterborough is a Oundle. A unique place reminiscent of a 1000 year old market town. Within this town is a boarding school known simply as Oundle School. They use InDesign to produce their own literature. They took advantage of our Beginners InDesign CS6 Training course however some of the features that I ordinarily train in the Intermediate course are a must. Those features being “Master Pages”. You see, by using master pages you can place objects you want to appear on every page of your publication, page numbers, running headers etc. One practice that I've noted is the tendency of removing or hiding the frame edges. I presume that this is because of some sort of preview. If you want to hide/show the frame edges Windows - Extras - Hide/Show frame edges. |

That being the case the format of the spreadsheets wasn't particular conducive to creating pivot tables, tables or even charts. So in a vain effort to getting everyone's data in the correct format here are a few house rules:
BTW they loved the cheat sheets as you can see from the picture download your free cheat sheet by visiting www.computertutoring.co.uk |
The art of trainingI've seen many things the good the bad and the darn right ugly. Not that perfection in training is anything I've achieved but sometimes a bit of empathy and common sense can make the person you're training feel at ease and aid training. Archives
